New book on Salo Republic

#1

Post by J. Duncan » 01 May 2018, 22:39

Forthcoming june 13 2018 release of H. James Burgwyn "Mussolini and the Salo Republic 1943-1945"
Not too much published in English on the Salo Republic which was Mussolini's puppet regime after Hitler rescued him and installed him there. Promises to highlight his henchmen (such as Pavolini) and showcase the ideological underpinnings of a return to a purer form of socialistic Fascism. Expensive.

Ouch.

Hell yes, it's expensive...obviously priced with university libraries in mind.

On a related note: Are there any books on the Salo Republic with information on German supervision/direction of continued small arms production after the armistice of September 1943?
Thanks,
Pat
