Any information on this author? I see that he's been cited in a number of books dealing with the eastern front (in particular his non-fiction "Tragödie an der Newa"). His novel "Der kleine Quast" was translated as "If this be Glory" and has a few positive reviews, another "Zeit Zünder" dealing with the aftermath of war apparently hasn't been translated, and reviews are less favorable.
