has anybody read? HITLER'S CRUSADERS: The West European SS: Volume 3 by J. Lee Ready, is it worth buying?

I haven't read the book.

However, about 25 years ago I bought an early book of his entitled Forgotten Axis about minor axis partners. It was densely packed with information, but my impression was that he hadn't really analysed the minor axis allies well because the book was too generalist for him to develop expertise in any given area. It was a useful, if limited, overwiew at the time, but I would not buy its latest re-issue unless drastically re-edited.

However, a quarter of a century later, he is presumably much more focused and your title might be worth a punt.
