Good morning all,

Above article fits in here better than "Other Eras" section.

Article has book excerpts and some good pictures on subject.

Note "Journalism is the first draft of history".

One of the book excerpts tells of the self-declared 1919 Limerick Soviet.

We can learn from history: Don't attempt tunnel escapes with a suitcase.

There is an Irish history website called, Bureauofmilitaryhistory.i.e, this has first accounts given by many of the men and women involved in The War of Independence and subsequent Civil War. Covering the years 1916-1922.
