Danny Parker is publishing a new book on Joachim Peiper that focuses primarily on his combat history. It is called "Peiper's War," and it's from Frontline Books. It doesn't seem to be listed yet on Amazon.com, however it is listed on Amazon.co.uk...

Hello WorldwarBill

how do you know the book ends in 1944? Do you know the manuscript?
And when it ends in 1944 (!?!?), only the author knows the reasons...

Best regards

Annelie beat me to the punch, but the subtitle says its from 1941-1944. As you probably know, Peiper saw heavy action in Austria with the last Kampfgruppe Peiper.

I just talked with Danny Parker. He said that this volume ends in August 1944. However, a second volume will also be released covering the Ardennes offensive. He also said that 1945 is also written, but there are no plans yet to release that, though that might come out later...

Thanks, I do cover Kampfgruppe Peiper in Austria in my book, but I would love to read another account.
