There are sample pages available on amazon.co.uk. A look at the reference notes does give a worrisome picture: very few references to archival sources.

I read some of the pages and it seems to be an integrated summary, largely from putting together secondary sources. It is likely to follow the path of "Order in Chaos" and offer its own sort of value but I don't think it will be a heavy weight study
