is this book recommendable?

Hi, I have recently become interested in a book called "Flight in the winter: Russia conquers January - May 1945" by Jürgen Thorwald. This book is fairly expensive, and I was just wondering if anyone here on the forum who has read it could tell me whether or not it is a recommendable book. Thank you in advance.

The book was reprinted as a paperback under the title "Defeat in the East" and there still cheap copies available.
