Looking for accounts from the small naval vessels

Post by Sawpatin » 15 Feb 2020 14:59

I'd like to find some good accounts of what service was like on the small naval craft of any of the combatants of WW2: stuff like PT boats, MAS, Schnellboot, MTBs, Motor Gunboats, etc.

Any navy or theatre of the war would be of interest. I'm limited to sources in English. Here are a couple I found:

The War of the Motor Gun Boats: One Man's Personal War at Sea with the Coastal Forces, 1943-1945, A.J. Chapman, Pen & Sword Maritime, 2013

His Majesty's Gunboat 658: The Small Boat War in the Mediterranean, Len Reynolds, Phoenix, 2002
