Mike,

I did not read your books, not my point of interest at all, but there is a very nice german saying:

"Was kümmert es die deutsche Eiche, wenn sich die Sau an ihr reibt!" :D

Good luck for your works, keep the good work going on...

Thanks for the answer Mike,
Do you know how many were printed ? As I read some where that some publishers only do a run of 500 which would make it very niche,
best of luck with you future endeavours

Thank you for the kind words, everyone, and for the purchase, Annelie.
I was a bit down yesterday- like almost everyone else in the world these days- and I'm sorry if I came off as embittered. Not the kind of person I want to be or the image I want to portray.

This may seem strange for researchers and authors but I am not
interested primarily in one area
.
I wish to have an over all general knowledge of lots of topics.
WWII is an huge area of interest.
So, I try to support authors at this site who have worked at their area instead
of unknown authors who churn out books by the dozen on WWII. This way I know
I will get the understanding I am looking for and be supportive for many who I have known
about for many years now.

I do like autobiographical books but those can be in hindsight not always of correct information.
With the researchers at least I can know that facts are checked and organized of which I appreciate.

Looking forward to continuing buying our authors here books.

To answer to Mike Miller, i am 200% agree with him about the reviews on amazon and the lack of support of our "fanbase" (sic!).
People usually love what we do/write, but they don't show support to us by taking 2 minutes to write a comment...

For exemple, my part III about LVF volunteers has only 16 notations (and on 16, maybe 10 reviews)...
This book sell to at least 100 copies since december 2020... So not more than 16% of people put a review or a notation.

Its not enough . People must understand that people like me or M. Miller need help and attention, and we can count only on ourselves and our customers.

To be honest I thought I had already posted a review. I now feel very sheepish and embarrassed indeed. I have just posted a review for volume 3.

Thank you, fellas! I'm greatly appreciative. And Mark, you've been a huge contributor to this series from its inception, so you've nothing to feel bad about.

Also, at this ridiculously low price ($28.95), even *I* might buy a copy or two...

I'm not sure why, but the price of the book at Amazon has been steadily sinking for months now now.
It currently stands at $24.60 USD! At that price even *I* can afford to stock up on extra copies.

Nearing completion of the expanded and improved second edition of Leaders of the Storm Troops, Volume 1, which should end up at around 800 pages with ca. 1,200 photos.

Best wishes and thanks to many WAF members for material support and encouragement,
~ Mike
