Re: My Brother in Arms - Kurt Sametreiter: available once again
A little background on the man...
Kurt Sametreiter, RKT (1922-2017) was interviewed for the recently released documentary "Final Account". He revealed that despite having over 70 years to acquaint himself with the reality of the organization he'd so faithfully and bravely served, he never did so. Or at any rate, he refused to admit that reality. Here he gives his assessment of the Holocaust:
"[The Holocaust] didn't happen... That's a joke. I don’t believe it. I will not believe it. It can't be.... Excuse me, but it's the Jew who puts it like that. The scale that is claimed today, I deny that, too. I deny it. It didn't happen.... The Waffen-SS had nothing to do with the terrible and brutal treatment of Jews and dissidents and the concentration camp. We were front-line soldiers… I have no regrets, and I will never regret being with that unit. Truly not.... A camaraderie like that… You could rely on every man 100 per cent. There was nothing that could go wrong. That was the beauty of it."

No remorse shown by Sametreiter at all and a Holocaust denier as well.

Interesting.
Question?

Is Luke Hollander any relation to Karl Hollander?
