Gregory Bouysse & Mark Spencer are pleased to announce the release of "Encyclopaedia of the New Order - Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross Holders Part I: September 1939 - May 1940" (514 pages, about 500 photos) available on all amazon platforms (.fr, .com, .uk, etc) in three versions:

-Paperback Standard colour : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09K26CDPM
-Paperback Premium Colour (should be validated very soon): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09K1WW8VW
-Hardcover Premium Colour: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09K21NTRD

The "premium colour" printing corresponds to excellent quality printing (hence the price difference), while the "standard colour" printing remains honourable and will largely satisfy those who are looking for information before iconography.

In this first volume devoted to the holders of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, the first 113 recipients of this prestigious military distinction, decorated from September 1939 to May 1940, are studied in depth. Until now, no book (even in English or German) had dealt with this subject in such an exhaustive manner, and it seemed necessary to fill this historiographical void.
Books on the subject already exist, but they are often limited to databases and compilations that do not deal with the life of the individual in a lively way, and iconography is also lacking. As for the internet, although a lot of information, data and images are available, they are scattered and incomplete. Here, we wanted to write biographies that were as complete as possible, written in a lively manner, with photos (often rare or even unpublished).
The sources consulted are published works, internet forums/blogs or collectors with whom the authors were able to exchange. I would like to thank them all. They are too numerous to mention here, but they will all be acknowledged. Gregory Bouysse and Mark Spencer hope that this series of books will satisfy both specialists and amateurs, and plan a total of six volumes to conclude this titanic work, which we feel is necessary.

Gregory Bouysse remains available and willing to help anyone at the following email address: [email protected].
