Peter Caddick-Adams new Books

Hopefully someone can unravel the mystery of author Peter Caddick-Adams final volume of his series on the European Theater. Based on Amazon and other on-line book sellers, there seems to be 3 versions of this volume all coming this spring 2022 :

"Fire and Steel" to be published by Oxford university Press at 464 pages.

"1945 Victory in the West" to be published by Hutchinson Heinemann at 560 pages.

"Victory in the West: 1945" to be published by Random House at 896 pages.

Fire and Steel has recently disappeared off Amazon.uk and Amazon.ca but remains at Amazon.com
The first 2 volumes in the series (Sand and Steel and Snow and Steel) were massive books with pages numbering close to 1000 pages. So it would make sense that the one from Random House would be the right one. But why three different versions, with different covers and different number of pages? Anyone have a clue or can ask the author himself?

Fire & Steel is the title for the US market while Victory In The West is for the other markets. Don't know about the pages.

Yes I considered that, but the number of pages for three different books and publishers makes no sense whatsoever. And the fact that Fire and Steel has disappeared from the British and Canadian sites makes me believe that they are not valid.

I would not read too much into the detail of books on publishers web sites. These can be based on out of date information. Contact Peter via his email address published on this page promoting his services as a battlefield guide. https://battlefieldguides.wordpress.com ... ick-adams/
