Silent Victory: The U.S. Submarine War Against Japan

#1

Post by subskipper » 16 May 2002, 20:54

Submarine freak as I am, I thought that I needed to replenish my bookshelves with some more titles dealing with the subject. As I just recently purchased Clay Blair's two volumes in the Hitler's U-boat War series (really good so far), I thought that Silent Victory: The U.S. Submarine War Against Japan might be a good read. Anyone who have read it care to comment? Are the appendices equally good in this one as in Hitler's U-boat War?

Thanks in advance.

Ohhh..... A grand total of 8 views! Seems like the Pacific submarine war isn't very popular among the forum visitors. :)

Henric,

Don't feel too bad about it, the response I got for my question on the "The Japanese Submarine Force and World War II" by Carl Boyd & Akihiko Yoshida was similar as I recall. :-)

Well, I hope you feel a little better if I tell you that The Japanese Submarine Force and World War II is now on my shopping list. :)
