I've just been reading "9. april" myself, and while perhaps not quite up to the level of primary research found in Zetterling's other books, it is certainly the best account I've yet read about the Norwegian campaign. Although, in fairness, I haven't read Francois Kersaudy.

cheers

I have Beevor's book and find it quiet useful for references to German officers and units during the invasion and also the subsequent occupation. I haven't actually read it from cover to cover, but I have heard of him being accused of being biased or inaccurate (Though I haven't noticed any myself.) when the subject has come up before.

Regards from the Park,

Rich

I am wondering if Michael Tamelander ever visits this forum (as well as other authors, besides those here who are regular posters...)

I know hes on-line, as I got a mail from him because I have a review of one of Zetterlings books on my web ;)

I've started slowly translating Den nionde april..

Unfortunately my Swedish leaves alot to be desired (Being Canadian, English is my mother tongue). So far though it appears to be an interesting read and I'm looking forward to completing it.

Thank you for the comments gentlemen

Take care and good luck
