Hi all,
Is this cooking burner a captured British item?
Photo from a DAK veteran.

Re: Help with cooking burner
Hello.
Unfortunately this cooking device could be anything. The original design was Swedish (primus, like said already) however many many companies made copies of them. Its a very generic design.
However whats strange is that from the photo it looks like a domestic model. Not a portable field model. It would have probably not been carried by somebody in a backpack but rather was used in a house or other fixed installation.
This particular model was fuelled with kerosene.
Its also almost certain that either this photo was pretend posing, or it was a very still day with no wind. The cooking device has no wind-protector fitted so would be almost impossible to light outside unless it was very still.
