...Siemens-Schuckert(werke). A merger of Siemens & Halske and Elektrizitäts Aktiengesellschaft (EAG), formerly Schuckert & Co in 1903.

I think this shows a 60cm search light, intended also for use with e.g. 75mm BAK gun (a predecessor of the later 88mm FlaK18) of ww1.
Interesstingly the cables and the generator are not shown in this photo. Unfortunately I cannot recall the model.

Sturm,
Thanks for sharing all those searchlight-facts and -pictures.
The Dutch searchlights in your posts of 20-nov-2010, 05-apr-2012, 07-mar-2013 and 27-mar-2016 (auto-numbering would be easier..)
are called: "drie-assig zoeklicht" (three-axis searchlight)
Examples on:
http://www.tonelly.nl/geluidbeelden/mus ... ebruik.htm

Some other types in Dutch use on:
http://www.grondgebondenluchtverdedigin ... start-1140 and other pages form this website

Best regards,

Ger

Sturm,
Included a photograph from:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File ... _No118.JPG
It was taken in 2010 in the Legermuseum in Delft

Currently this searchlight is in the collection of the National Military Museum (NMM) in Soesterberg, NL
https://www.nmm.nl/zoeken-in-de-collect ... il/314629/

The searchlight has some construction-details that are similar to the Dutch WW2 searchlights on your photographs
NMM description says:
System: "Siemens-Schuckert"
Manufacturer: "Rijkswerf"
Rijkswerf means something like: Government (ship)yards, this could only be Hellevoetsluis (until 1935), or Den Helder-Willemsoord.
Coming weeks I'll try to find some more details

Hello,
I'm a new member of this forum, which is pretty interesting! I've started 2 week ago an internship in a museum and I have to order some archive data. It is a couple of days that I can't find out what kind of model is this spotlight. Someone of you guys can help me? (yep they will have to restore it :) )
