Sturm,

I think the same device is in your post #146 (14 dec 2012).

Sturm,

More information (in Spanish) via:
https://1library.co/article/contrato-em ... r.dzx85knq
https://www.defensa.gob.es/portaldecult ... _01A04.pdf

The contract was for 71 devices, model V-20, type 1940.
German firm involved: AGEKA, which stands for 'Ausfuhrgemeinschaft für Kriegsgerät'

Thank you very much for the link...Very interesting information....but I think contains some inaccuracies.
It is said that the sound locators model V-20 type 1940 were captured Belgian material and it is said that were offered to Spain in Jan.1940... :?

This is impossible as the Germans invaded Belgium in May 1940...

On the other hand, I have not seen any wartime image of one of these sound locators in service with the Belgian Army nor was it photographed by German soldiers during the invasion of Belgium...which makes me suspect about the true origin of these sound locators.

I am not sure but it is very possible that the sound locator in Belgium Army use in 1940 was this model, which looks very different from my previous image.... :?

Any additional image and/or information about Belgian sound locators will be welcome

Sturm,

The Belgian Sound Locators were license-made Tepas-Skoda V20's.

Looks like the design is Russian/Soviet

The device shown in #543 still remains a mystery...

Hi factfndr54

I am increasingly confused.

The images of the Belgian sound detectors that you have uploaded, whose model seems to be Tepas-Skoda V20, do not look at all like my original image, which seems to be of a model used during the Spanish Civil War, which makes me suspect that it can not be a Tepas model, unless that it be an older model.

According to this, the model Tepas-Skoda V20 used by the Belgian army would be a model of Czechoslovak origin? :?

Is Tepas the name of the company that manufactures these devices? :?

As for your idea that the sound locator used in Spain could be of Soviet origin, I have only seen images of this model in use during World War II by the Russians and it is very different from my original image.....
