It's almost 100% certain it is a civilian speaker being used with the radio. This would be easy enough to do assuming that the voltage output of the radio was the same as used on the speaker solenoid.

I can make some guesses on the one in post 351. It appears to be key only (eg., morse code), and prewar as the uniforms look like Weimar Republic era ones rather than Wehrmacht. The exact model I haven't seen yet.

Why do you think the apparatus is Morse only? I am not disagreeing - merely curious :) . AFAIK most interwar radios could do both because telegraphy offered longer range and greater reliability while audio offered greater utility.

Agreed. Given it most likely is late 20's early 30's telegraphy was very dominant, as voice / audio quality was poor at the time. It could be both, an my response was in part a guess based on the men's uniforms as to the period. I haven't been able to find a photo of that particular radio, or the one below it, that is a match either.
