Hello!

Any suggestions on what the "A.U.V" on this stamp means?
Sorry for the bad photo.......

Where is it stamped on? (might give a clue...)

Looks like a Luftwaffe eagle to me

Oh.... I forgot......

It is on the backside of a mirror (!).
The small letters says "Stavanger" and since that is my hometown, this is really important to find out!

I was thinking of the lw stamps on porcelain, but that`s F.L U.V

(What does F.L U.V mean then) :?

HI;
I think FLUV means Flughafen Unterkunfts Verwaltung.

Hello!

Thanks for your inputs!

I just heard that the Germans used a norwegian furniture manufacturer for their supplies. The name of the factory was "Andersen" so maybe it is "Andersen unterkunfts verwaltung" then

Erik,

Don't you think it says "Fl U V", just like Christoph suggested?

Anyways, I hope all is well with you :)
