I don´t know what it is. But the three-letter-code could help you to find the producer. ejs

Hi all.
Could it be a tube for the recoil spring for a automatic weapon :?
I have seen metal tubes for holding MG34 recoil springs.

Found these while hiking. Lucky me. Wonder what they might be? The Reichs Adler has flown away, but what does that text say? "???staffel". Any Ideas? There is text "DEAC" in that copperish box thingie. And two terminals, other is marked with +. I wonder if it has been used to blow something up.

Cheers,

What is this. It was found with some WW2 era german sanität stuff. Has anyone seen similar. In this brass tube there is kind of needles but these needles have no loops nor holes for thread. They are approx. 5cm long and very sharp.

I am baffled. Oh how wonderful it would be to treasure hunt for WW2 relics in that forest! You are blessed sir.

I would like to return to the picture (setti 001.jpg) posted here on 29 Jun 2006 15:50, this is definitely not a cabin from pzinz 703 (and I think you was thinking about pzinz713) and for me it does not look like cabin of the stz-5 either so what that could be? Take look on these photos, and compare them, especially the lights position and cut out for engine.

@0200818 : picture "pönttö2.JPG" shows a container for 10 cm Nebelwerfer 40 ammunition, it looks like one for extra propellant charges (Teilkartusche).

The 8 cm Box once contained 3 8 cm Wurfgranate 34 fitted with a "Wgr Z T"( Wurfgranatzünder Trolitul).
