Travelling is cheap nowadays :) you don't have to sell yourself on ebay - the real problem is mosquitos. And the distances walked in total wilderness (backpack full of junk) :lol:

Some little things I found recently. Does anybody know what that rack (pix coming later) might be??? And that brown medicine bottle. What did it contain?

Hello its a backpack frame for carrying a Fieldtelephone drum , the guy would wear this on his back and feed out cable from the cable drum fitted to this frame.I hope this helps

The brown bottle in stuff.jpg looks like one for Maggi liquid soup spice. Compare http://www.emailleschilder.com/maggi.htm
I think I can even read the word 'MAGGI' on the body.

Help to ID Ammo mag

Hi, I dug this up in german bunker. It didn't contain any ammo but I found some 7,92 x 57 mm ammo nearby and it seems they fit. Any ideas from which gun this is from? Spring is working (after some oiling) but I did not dare to try how much ammo it takes in.
