The top picture (see pg 2 of the thread if it didn't reproduce here) is a Flak Folge Gerät. It is a target tracking device that automatically calculates the speed and bearing of the target aircraft. Used in conjunction with a rangefinder, you get the data necessary to aim heavy flak guns at a target aircraft.
It's a Leitrichtgerät . It is used with (usually) 4 meter Em 34-36 stereoscopic rangefinder. The Leirichtgerät is for bearing and elevation data and used together, gives the position of the target in the sky.Sturm78 wrote: ↑24 Apr 2012 14:44Hi all,
