I got an e-mail about my search light, but w/o any means of answering, so I´ll use this forum: everything is gone, I have nothing left.

Hi all

Some images of Dutch searchlights

I think the first image is the same model that I posted on 10 Apr 2020 ( I don`t know if of German of WW1-era model or not..) while I think the other three are not standard Dutch material.

Thnaks a lot for sharing this image, tom1977.. :)

In the book "Sound locators, Fire control systems and Searchlighrs of the German heavy Flak units" of Werner Muller, is mentioned this system
"Up until that time efforts were made to improve the effectiveness of the 150cm searchlights in a combined quad arrangement on a bridge frame. However, since the idea failed to achieve the hoped-for performance boost, only 61 of these systems went into operation"

I think your image is one of these quad systems...I had never seen one of these systems...

Yes, it's a very rare 150 cm Scheinwerfer-Vierling. This picture has been circulating on the Interned for some time (15 years or so ;), just in lower resolution), I think. I've seen just one other photo of this quad searchlight, covered with a tarpaulin.

Hi Sturm.

Probably Officine Galileo 150 cm.
See attached file (source: TM30-246, https://maritime.org/doc/photo-interp/index.htm).

Regards,
Ger

Another picture of (possibly) Gallileo 150cm searchlights

Location: Lagaro, Italy,
Date: November 24th, 1944
Note the Searchlight Directors(?) next to the searchlights

Thank you, and sorry for misposting. I had no idea it was a radar unit.
