German field radios

Post by Sturm78 » 20 Apr 2009 15:24

Hi all,

I found these 3 images of german field radios on Ebay. I am not an expert in these matters. Can anyone identify the model of these radios?

Regards Sturm78.

Thank you very much for your link, Patrick. :D

It is possible that my photos shows Lorenz Torn.Fu.b1 radio equipments, although it is difficult to ensure for me.

Those are in fact Torn Fu b1 radios. Their primary use was for communications with the artillery. It is a combined transmitter and receiver. This is one in my collection:

This pair of radios consist of a receiver on the left and a transmitter on the right. The receiver is a Torn E 445 BS which was replaced by the Torn E b by the outbreak of the war. The transmitter is the 5 Watt transmitter which was another pre to early war radio.
