The device with the twin binos is a "FLAKRICHTGERAT 40A" or flak director, it could send corrected fire commands to the guns via the 37 model remote system. No idea on the nomenclature for the sound locator.

Ummhhh....I am not sure. This was my first thought but I have this other image labeled as a FLAKRICHTGERAT 40A.
It is a similar equipment but there are many differencies

It is the anti aircraft tripod for the MG 34 LMG. and yes he is holding a P 08 AKA Luger. This is a MG team. Over his shoulder he has a mg ammo box.

Hi all,

According to Ebay photocaption, this image was taken in Spain during Civil War. Is this a German GM-30 gas mask??

Well, it's KM, and those are 10x80's mounted on it. Several photos of that same system are found here:

It is remotely possible this system is something Italian, as the Ducati did manufacture 10 x 80 20 degree binoculars like the ones on this mount. In any case, this is likely a fire control system for some low angle coast defense gun rather than purely a flak gun.

Hi all,

Any idea about this observation periscope ??
I think this is not the standard german S.F. 14Z Scherenfernrohr observation periscope...
