Re: I need help to Id. german equipment
Hi Bertram, Sturm,
there is a little mistage Its not a DKW pump. the hole item was made by Flader in Jöhstadt.... only the engine of the portable pump was made by DKW. There where more engine factories for portable pumps: DKW, Breuer, Selve, Rosenbauer,ILO and F&S
Also interessting are the female Firefighters!
best regards Henning

Hi Henning,
thank You very much for the correction and the other information about the portable pumps. I didn´t know that. So I could learn something new by Your reply.
Best regards
Bert

Re: I need help to Id. german equipment
Hi all,
Not German but. ..Any ideas about this equipment?
It was captured by the Italians in Yugoslavia in 1941. I suppose it will be some type of equipment associated with anti-aircraft artillery and, given that the Yugoslav AA guns were Skoda, I think it will be of Czechoslovak origin....

Ummhhhh....The Italian Mod.1935 have two large cylinders and a smaller, square-shaped container behind them halfway up.karlik wrote

Mod.1940 had two large cylinders and a smaller cylindrical container behind them down, while the Mod.1941 had three large cylinders
In my image I can see only two large cylinders but nothing behind...Maybe it could be a Mod.1935 without the rear container (which seems to contain the battery)

It should be a stadimeter, same as English derived from Latin.AlifRafikKhan wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 09:52What is the official German name of bearing compass?A black-and-white picture postcard captured by Barbara Soltmann, depicting two Marine-Hitler-Jugend at the bearing compass

bearing compass (engl.) = Peilkompass (dt.), as captioned on the back of the postcard. "Wer lesen kann, ist klar im Vorteil."

In naval terms it is usually a stadimeter for measuring both a bearing and rough range.ChrisMAg2 wrote: ↑18 Jul 2020, 08:15AlifRafikKhan wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 09:52What is the official German name of bearing compass?A black-and-white picture postcard captured by Barbara Soltmann, depicting two Marine-Hitler-Jugend at the bearing compass
