German radar images

Post by Sturm78 » 28 Nov 2009 21:34

Hi all,

I found on Ebay this image of a FuMG 64 Mannheim (FuMG 41 T) german AA radar in position. According to photocaption the image was taken near Berlin.

Have seen anyone a wartime photo of this radar in travel position? More pictures will be welcome

Hi SES,

Thank you very much for your answer.I had seen your photo in "Ground radar systems of the Luftwaffe" book of Werner Muller.
I was looking for a photo of this equipment in travel position with the wheels attached (Sd.Ah. 204 trailer). Pictures of German radars in travel position are very rare

Hi SES; thank you very much for your images!! :D

W-Dora (Medium).jpg : I think a FuMG 62 Wurzburg A or C on a non standard trailer
Rotterheim.jpg: See http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 57&start=0
800_6235386638326165.jpg : A Wurzburg C or D on his special standard trailer. Does somebody know if this trailer had a special denomination? Sd.Ah. ???

Zonen-100 (Medium).JPG : I think perhaps a FuMG 41 Freiburg on a Sd.Ah.204 trailer, but I am not sure :?
SdAH Freya.jpg : FuMG 401 (39 G) Freya on Sd.Ah. 201 trailer
unknown%20Lafette[1].jpg : I think a special standard trailer for Wurzburg radar

I am not a specialist in German radar, so any correction will be welcome.

Hi Henning,
Looks like a picture out of the same sequence - an album butcher?
