Wasn't there some controversy recently that the German government was still using one of Hitler's carriages as part of the chancellor’s train?

Hey, Andre,

I came across this site with a short film of Hitler's tour of Paris in 1940 which includes sveral shots of his train arriving at the station. Hope it's useful.

Cheers,

K.

Here are some screenshots from the drama documentary "Killing Hitler" from the scenes dealing with the plans to attach the Feuhrerzug.

The program says the train is described as being "dirty violet or very dark blue in colour" and travelled "between 90 and 120 kph"

Hope they are useful.

Here's a document from the Public Records Office site on Operation Foxley dealing with Hitler's train:

There is an 8 page article on the Führersonderzug written by I.M. Baxter in the Military Advisor Vol 10 No 1.

Thank you with all for your assistance.

Thank you Marcus, I ordered several numbers of "Military Advisor" on the site which you indicated.

On my side work advances, official inauguration on June 28...

I will hold you informed of the evolution of my work.

I am always in the search of information...

When all is finished, I will probably write a book on this train ;o).

Friendships,

André.

FBerloff is absolutely correct: this transmitter can be seen on the picture of the radio room in Hitler's train.
