Help with definition of originality Diensglas 10x50

Post by tornado » 08 Jan 2012 18:19

Hello, respected.
There are to you some questions on this Binoculars.
Grid presence in the right eyepiece.
How think, color the original?
As the question with originality of a skin and time of manufacture of a wardrobe trunk is interesting.
Whether there is in what that doubts?

dienstglas binoculars are original, no doubt, the gray/black finish is a late war product, the case is not original to the binoculars...are you buying them?

Thanks Xavier.
Whether I think to buy?
Purchase binoculars without Case is possible.
But doubted that colour it is original initially.
On a wardrobe trunk, too thanks, doubts on it have disappeared.
As thought that case after WW2

Unless + in marks should be painted over a white paint?
In the original after all should be painted over a dark blue paint?
Or I am mistaken?

I have seen "+" painted in white, in blue and not painted at all... issue would be late 1944-1946
