Possible part of a 8,8 cm box

Came across a piece marked "Marine Muntion" which I believe comes from a box for 8,8 cm based on this:

Anyone with a picture of a intact ammunition box with simliar text? (Would this be correct box: http://wehrmachts.kisten.free.fr/8,8cm_bois.htm ?)

If that's the only information on that piece, then there's no way to tell.
The Kriegsmarine 8,8 cm ammunition was normally packed in airtight containers, wooden crates were rarely used.

Ok. This comes from a place that used 8,8's after the war and this particular piece had been used to repair a drainage pit.

But anyway, have you seen such wooden case for 8,8 cm with that marking?

Marine Munition
