German equipment after war use

Post by kladinovi » 01 Jun 2019 14:39

With the end of ww2 a lot of German military equipment was left to the people and many factories where just there to make stuff for the war so many things would be utilized in civilian life or converted to civilian use. I have seen sieves out of Stahlhelms or pots out of Panzerfaust and that shoe soles were made out of tires and some vehicles were modified. Could you please gather here all stuff of the German/Japanese/Italian army that were used after the war in the civilian life: Thanks ahead :milwink:

The NSU Kettenkrad (Sd.Kfz. 2) was used postwar by farmers and in forestry as a tractor. Some 550 vehicles were build by NSU until 1948, the only Wehrmacht vehicle still produced after the war.
