Hello Gents, Does anyone have information on this Non Folding Esbit Stove; billed as Wehrmacht Marine (Naval) Stoves ?

is unknown to me in connection with the Wehrmacht, but is offered here for little money:

Good for reheating a packaged ration, "cook" on it, forget it!
The example shown by you is a so-called "collector's production". (Sammleranfertigung)
(Completely worthless for collectors, more for camping friends...)

We grew up with "Esbit" cookers in the 1960's, good for a cup of tea or instant coffee, nothing more...

To imagine, that soldiers of the Wehrmacht could heat up their only warm meal like that is more than Scheisse!
(It did not happen, never!)

The starving men slaughtered their dead comrades, for meat, that's how it was.

That's war!

And I understand, why a lot of men never talked about it...
