Given the present posistion of V174, I imagine this area is subject to heavy coastal errosion?. How far back from the coast was this installation when it was built?

Hello Andy

The site at Blåvand is approx. at the same place as when it was buildt
( see picture from 1945 where you can see the coastline )

The site from Søndervig ( Ringelnatter ) is also about the same, as it was buildt behind the dunes, there are some few bunkers which has tumbled from the dunes down to the beach.

The site at Agger ( the V174 in the water ) was build approx. 100 mtrs inland from where it is now.

best regards
Kurt

The V-174 in Agger, as you can see it is on top af a dune in 1945, so it has "moved" app. 100 mtrs to the beach.

Some inside photos from Ringelnatter. The L487 Jagdleitbunker, you can see it is in good condition. Note the colors on the wall.

I`m not sure why many bunkers are built as SK in Norway......
Maybe some weird pionieer troops :)

Anyway, it seems like they liked to build with stones!

Here is an example of an emplacement for a "FuMo2 Calais" at MKB Vigdel, Stavanger.
