Maybee some one can Help me whit info about the Radar station "LÖWE" in Holland,Leeuwarden/Marum ...I have found some info but that I look around after/for is photos from "LÖWE" from the war or after war.....Björn

Thank You for fast answere..I have heard about this book but I have not found any for sale.Do You now where I can found one for sale?. I have over 100 wartime photos from the "LÖWE" radar station most of them from 1941-42...But not so many of the buildings only of personal from the Ln.Regt 201..Do You now whitch part of the Regt that was in service in 1940-42?? on the Löwe station. I show one wartime postcard that show the "staffelwappen" from Löwe radarstation...Take Care..Björn

Nice pic you posted. Are their a lot of RkT on the pictures, beause there were a lot in Leeuwarden that time? In the book are also a lot of personalities, maybe you can post the pics, and i'll try to indentify them. happy to do so
'll try to find out about the Ln.regt. but there are 3 books to work trough

I posted also some pics. One flak and the Löwe station behind it. On the other one on the left Leutnant Maier, officer of the station and his student Ofw. Heinz Lübke, the other pic is a camouflaged barracks of the station and on the last on are the remains of the station in 1975??

Thank You for the info..and photos.I will send You some more photos tomorrov.I sit now on work and read this.Most of the photos are of enlisted personal.There is also photos of this Leutnan Maier..And some other officer´s...Al of the photos have text on backside to whit name..There is no photos of any RK trägers but..There is photos from a "party" at Löwe...There they have some "HOME MADE" decoraitions...medals around the neck..I try to post some nice photos of an DO 215 flying low over LÖWE but it was to big...I will make a new scan tomorrov..Do You now whitch FLAK regement that was in the LÖWE area?You will here from Me tomorrov again...Take Care Björn

isn't photo dated?

the stellung came operational in feb 1941. untill june 1941 Leutnant Leo Maier was co. after that till spring 1942 is Werner Schulze the co and later is Leutnant Scheel the co.

but he looks like Ltn Maier.
I wish the damn scanner works

The photo have no text on backside...But from other photos in this serie I not get the other photos in the auction,I now that the photo is from the Vinter,Februari 1942...I think it was about 5-10 photos around this Fiesler Storch

Here I post some new photos no text on backside...There is "Party" at LÖWE....LOOK at the strange home made medals-decoration...There is one Pilot on the photo...to the right side of the BIG/FATH German Officer..I think the Pilot it´s Leutnant or Oberleutnant...He have the EK 2 ribbon,EK 1..Pilotmedal and Frontflugspange...There is also two civil persons???
I will also try to post two very nice photos of an DO 215 from the 4 staffel/NJG 1...G9 + NM I hope they not are to big...I can not do them smaler now..Many of the photas have text on backside most NCO and Gefreiter...from 1941 to 1942....If You can help Me to found this 3 books I will bee VERY HAPPY...No problem whit the language...I can buy a lexicon...Do You now any second hand bookstore in Your country that have internet sites??.....Björn

Nice details also, you can see the camouflaged barrackes behind them!

Weird medals do they wear! don't look like large rk or kvk to me, maybe some one else can help here??

and also you're a lucky one, i've found http://www.bladzij20.nl/overig_noord-nederland.htm. where you can buy this 3 books for 50 Euro. Hope they still have it in stock
But remember dutch isn't a easy langaunge to read!

Thank you a lot for the info about this book dealer...I buy the 3 book´s from Him 65 euro included shipping to Sweden...it´S GREAT...

I have exact 104 photos from this Photo album...A dealer on Ebay sold the photos out in small groups...I think it was about 125 photos from Löwe and total 250 photos so I dont have them al...It´s sad but there was many bidders on them..
There was also a lot of photos from a Town GRONNING ,LeeuwardenI am not sure of the speling...Where this Soldier have visit..
I also have in My NJG collection some Orginal combat reports from NJG 1...some of this airvictories are from Netherland ....and the RAF Bombers have bin shoot down whit help from the LÖWE Station or from some other places in Netherland...TIGER and EISBÄR i think...
