Another configuration, you can see the jacket and helmet with camouflage and the equipment with the man in this soldier of SS-Deutschland, helping a wounded comrade in the vicinity of Zakroczym (Poland 1939)..........................................

Here we see him carrying belt with straps, shovel, map bag, bayonet, binoculars (6x30 Dienstglas?), submachine gun and of course the steel helmet (Stahlhelm). He also wears the Infanteriesturmabzeichen (Infantry Assault Badge) and the EKI (Iron Cross 1st Class).............

Hi, does anybody know if the pioneer saw can be carried with both shovel and bayonet. I know it can be carried attached to bayonet and bayonet can be carried attached to shovel but can all three be carried together?
