This is the same generator as I posted a photo of earlier in this thread, where there are some clear similarities to yours (But definately not the same!)

Still a mystery, but I am still pretty sure that we are dealing with some kind of Generator.

Hello all

I have got this picture, maybe that is something usefull ??

The caption to the picture says:

"For the neccasary electric power supply to the searchlightbattery was used this 120 kW Maschinensatz. It was transported on the two axle Sd.AnH. 206"

Hello all partisipating here

Yes the handles looks like the ones in my picture.
But here there are two of them, but only three of the instrument panel glases on the top. "Mine" have five of them.

Hello Jos

No - not yet, we are off mid next week. We have hollidays from today and 3 weeks ahead, so theres "time enough" !!

And to Hoff - yes, it is not quite the same one, but close - right !!

The caption said " 120 kW " - so it would just be a question of type / how many kW - would´t it ???

Kurt

Here is a panel a friend of mine once found near a searchlight position in Norway......

Could the differences be as simple as different manufacturers??
Again is the black circle with starter button and key present.....

gerät

Post by c_hoff82 » 24 Jul 2005, 00:40

Hello all

Then I`m back with some new pictures of the gerät. It`s a bit more rusty than the last time I wisited it, but after five years you cant ask for more...

I hope this pictures can help us. To me the gerät doesent look complete. When it regards the red and black plate on the panel, they must have been removed by some relic hunters. Lucily I found them liying on the ground nearby the gerät.

I took several pictures and I have attatched some of them. One of the pictures shows how the gerät is positioned beside the "scheinwerfer" stand and the end of the cable coming from the gerät.

If you would like some pictures of something special, just ask me.

Regards
C. Hoff

Hi,
Thank you for the outstanding pictures, which dispel all doubts. It a mobile Lichtmachine - a generator, question is now for which type of searchlight.

Did you find any factory signs on it?

This is obviously reused by the Norwegian army. Between 1945 - 1975, they only used German searchlights.
The 200 cm version was taken out of service in 1957, but the 150 and 60 cm remained until the 1980`s.

Did you note any voltage marked on the panels?

Erik
