Before 4 days one of my friend has buy a Luftawaffe SECOND PATTERN OFFICER'S DAGGER .. but i have a bad suppose .

Looks good to me.....though there's nothing like holding it in your hands.....needs a proper "cleaning" (lots of "dirt" in the fine details) but I don't see any Red Flags.....

Hi !

I´m not collecting daggers but I think, this particular dagger´s a part-one, (a "parts-dagger") ...

The pommel look´s to me like Eickhorn-made and the ring to the crossguard seems to me it doesn´t fit, as it had to should to have ...

Also I don´t like the maker´s-mark ...

For comparison pic´s of the maker´s mark on my Wehrmacht Officer´s-dagger;

That dagger is a SMF genuine.
Pommel, leaves on the crossguard, band on the scabbard and the ring too are all SMF manifacture.
