The paradise of the successful lends itself perfectly to a hell for the unsuccessful. (Bertold Brecht on Hollywood)
Re: Conquered Europe or Wehrmacht - foreign tourists
Can't you see for yourself that this is completely different from what is shown in the photo that we are researching?

Brussels I think is: Center - Saint Servais Church.
Baroque building w/dark roof could be the Town Hall of Schaerbeek.

Brussels again. In the center of the photo is the North Station, which was demolished in 1955.
We are not interested in the station, we are interested in the cathedral in the background photo.
Tell me what kind of cathedral it is, the basilica, as it is called.Does it currently exist?

Here's another mystery, possibly Belgium
Re: Conquered Europe or Wehrmacht - foreign tourists
Belgium it is indeed. The statue of Mary and child at Keizersberg Abbey, Louvain.
Re: Conquered Europe or Wehrmacht - foreign tourists
Tell me, please, to whom is this monument erected and where is it located?
Re: Conquered Europe or Wehrmacht - foreign tourists
Who knows what kind of building with columns, where is it?
Re: Conquered Europe or Wehrmacht - foreign tourists
As it turned out, the building with columns is the Church of St. Alexander in Warsaw.During the war in 1944 it was partially destroyed. Then it was rebuilt in 1949-1952 in the style of classicism - its appearance was restored before reconstruction in the 19th century. In 1951, the left tower that survived the war was demolished.
This is how he looked before and this is how he looks now.

The building is very characteristic. Maybe someone knows where it is, but at the same time tell me about the characters.
