Greeting card from Governor General of Poland

Post by DarExc » 28 Dec 2002 11:34

I recieved this from a friend of mine and it looks brand new, I thought it was a reproduction because I missheard her when she gave it to me and thought she had recieved it in 1999 when infact it was 1939 (even for 1999 it looks good). Im wondering if it is worth anything but am not interested in selling. Feel free to copy the picture and enjoy! Any extra information on it would be great =)

Back when I devoted part of my time to stamp-collecting, I usually
didn't miss checking the postcard section, just for curiosity, and I
remember I saw such a postcard.
That being long ago, I don't remember its catalog value.

At any rate it relates to the "Assumption of Office of the Governor General
for the Occupied Polish Territories".

Just to be of some help, I browsed around the net and I found a place
where they listed a twin copy of that card, along with its picture, but
they don't give any quotation as the item was sold.

You could check withhttp://www.blackcrossmilitaria.com/german11.html

and either phone them or send them an e-mail to get that info.

Regards

Angelo
