I recently found a few poems that were done by hitler and just wanted to know if anyone knew of or has anymore that he wrote and would share with me and the rest of the forum.
thank you.
The Mother
"When your mother has grown older,
When her dear, faithful eyes
no longer see life as they once did,
When her feet, grown tired,
No longer want to carry her as she walks -
Then lend her your arm in support,
Escort her with happy pleasure.
The hour will come when, weeping, you
Must accompany her on her final walk.
And if she asks you something,
Then give her an answer.
And if she asks again, then speak!
And if she asks yet again, respond to her,
Not impatiently, but with gentle calm.
And if she cannot understand you properly
Explain all to her happily.
The hour will come, the bitter hour,
When her mouth asks for nothing more."
Adolf Hitler, 1923.

The poem really seems to be by Hitler. It can be found on the net in several (most rightist to neonazi) forums in written form and as audio. The versions slightly differ from each other sometimes, I quote only one of the possible German original versions (with some minor alterations).Denk‘ es
-- Adolf Hitler
The most reliable support for the claim that it's authentically Hitler's (dated to 1923) can be found at the Archiv des Instituts für Zeitgeschichte München, Findmittel [online], ED 416, p. 6 (see: http://www.ifz-muenchen.de/archiv/ed_0416.pdf).

Re: Hitler's Poems
This poem is actually from Georg Runsky (pen name of Karl Wilhelm August Georg Runschke).
It appeared in 1906 under the title "Habe Geduld!" in his book "Blüthen des Herzens".
