And three more:

Again Jochen Peiper as I hardly know much about German officers. I have read a little about him.

And Wilfred Owen, the brilliant war poet! This image was very small and blurry so I tried to colour my best.

I agree.

Here is another from an Inf. Rgt. 19 album. Note the captured Russian T34 tank in the background.

Cheers,
Larry

This doesn't surprise me. It is advertised as "REPRO-FOTO" but should not be up for sale on Ebay.
Anyone who posts photos on forums, Ebay etc, is fair game. I sometimes wonder, (as do a lot of other photo owners) why I bother posting
photos here and on other forums.
I have had colorized photos posted here and elsewhere turn up for sale on Ebay with my watermark still on them.
Anyway, I will continue showing some of my work, so here is another colorization I did recently.

Cheers,
Larry

Hi Larry,

Have you tried reporting the intellectual property infringements to eBay: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/tp/vero-rights-owner.html Quite unlike when you just report an item under eBay "Help & Contact" menu, VeRO claims seem to actually be answered to.

Regards,
Markus

Hi Markus,

I have never complained to Ebay about my photos being copied and sold on their site.
The field of intellectual rights and copyrite can be a bit of a minefield with different countries having different sets of
rules. Many discussions about this subject can be found here and at other forums.
I never say that I own all the photos in my collection only that they are part of my collection and that is how I watermark them.
That people copy my watermarked photos and sell them on Ebay is plain wrong in my book. But is it illegal? I don't know.

Cheers,
Larry

Hi Larry,

sure it is illegal. The coloring of the photos is your work and protected by law. Unauthorised use is prohibited! The more when the target is to get money.
Read: German Copyright Law: §2, §3, §17, § 106 (!!, unauthorised use, punished with prison up to three years or fine), §108 a (!! comercial unauthorised use, prison up t o 5 years or fine).
Source ( also in English , click on the UK flag at the top in the registern also as English PDF) : https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/urhg/

Please DO NOT allow such copyright violations and report this person at least.

Regards,
Roman

Anyone have an DeviantArt account? If so could you tip member KraljAleksandar?
Looks like the eBay type has lifted at least three of his works; And that's just counting Rommel colourisations.

Hi Larry, nice one, Matteus, also very nice, here's my version of the same image I did quite a while back, interesting in the two different approaches to the same image
