Hitler's Stamp collection

I have read in a variety of places that Adolf Hitler and some of his associates were avid Stamp Collectors and that his collection was kept at Berchesgarten. Anyone have knowledge as to whether this is true and what became of the collection? Or did the 101st airborne bring it home with them.
