Hello!

Just heard about a type of map called "Bildplankarte".
It is supposed to be a combination of aerial-photo and drawing.....

Is there a web-page where I can see some examples of these maps?
And what scale are they?

Erik

Hello Erik!

I don´t kow if it is the same but I have several aerial fotos with additional lines, notes, informations about what is there etc..
It was used to show air crew members their target. If youre interested I can post one when I am back from work.

Hi Erik!

As I said I don´t know if this is what has been offered to you but when I hear your explanation I think of these kind of aerial fotos.
This is Radom airfield after the attack in Sept.1939.
1) Main hangar 120x40m
2) another hangar 50x50m
3) storage barn
4) flight control building
5) vehicle garage
6) quarters
7) ammo storages

Well, it is not the same..... :(

It is a regular topographical map, with a air-photo added in a area which hasn`t been drawn....
