Letters

Post by chris bell 59 » 19 Nov 2016 13:06

Help required!
Whilst perusing a local charity shop, I found and purchased two letters written by German service personnel. The problem is that my schoolboy German language skills are poor, but also one letter is written using Sutterlin germanic handwriting which only compounds the problem.
The correspondence was sent by a serviceman whose unit is based in Hungary in November 1944, but I cannot read it- let alone translate it.
Is there anyone out there with the necessary skills to read and translate it for me? It's only for historical interest, no fee paid or suchlike; I could photo copy the letters and send them wherever. If anybody has an interest, you can email me at
cbell7194@gmail.com
Hopefully this will grab someone's attention, someone who, like me, is fascinated by endless research and has a similar thirst for knowledge.
Thankyou everyone
Chris Bell, Devon, England.
