Capt. Marvin M. Waldroup Jr.
DOB: 6 July 1919
POB: Doddridge, Arkansas
HOR: Dixie, Louisiana
He was shot down on 27 November 1943 near Rimini, Italy and was held as a POW in STALAG LUFT I until repatriated in 1945.
I am seeking a POW list and general records for STALAG LUFT I as online records do not list him despite U.S. National Archives records confirming his internment there.
I would also be interested in advice to recover his records of his initial processing at a DULAG.
I would further appreciate any referrals you may be able to provide that would serve to further my research.

A copy of their reports would have been given to The US and British governments as they relate information about Allied nationals held there.
The British copy is at UK National Archives, ref. WO 208/3282, covered the period July 1940 to May 1945 and contains photographs.
UK NA will digitize the file for you for a nominal charge - maybe 10 dollars, maybe more. I visit in normal times so this doesn't come up. But you can make an enquiry.
US NARA probably have their copies somewhere.
Probably the Arolsen archives may have something.
