Gentlemen, I`m looking for two articles form the magazine "Die Klinge" titled "Me fecit Solingen" and "Die Waffen von heute". Unfortunantely, I have no information on dates or issue numbers when these articles were published. If anyone has them or can advise where I can find it, I`d appreciate your help.

Good afternoon honordagger,

a very interesting question, the former german publication "Die Klinge" until now not known to me,
even as a former collector of german "Blankwaffen", swords, sabres, daggers and bayonets, etc.
In the "Deutsche National Bibliothek" there is only one entry in the database online, please see attached screenshot.

The publication was av. only from 1933/34 until 1943 (?)

You may want to contact the "Deutsches Klingenmuseum" in the city of Solingen also.
They have a large library there.
Link: http://klingenmuseum.de/_deutsch/dkm/homepage.html (Multi-language website)

Another source would be the "Stadtarchiv Solingen", contact data under the following link.

Good luck for your further research, and please post about your results here in this topic, thank you... :milwink:

Hans

P.S. Deutsches Klingenmuseum in Solingen very well recommended, I visited the museum and the library several times in the 1980s,
excellent resource, and very helpful and competent experts!

Btw, "Me fecit Solingen" stands for "I was made in Solingen", a little more about this under the following link:
