I have several of the DIN A4 formal documents sent to families, gold eagle with unit, birth/death, signed by commander. Anyone else have any from other than SS units ? Mine given to me by a Czech archive during a visit.

Hello Mark.
I have one for a Gefreiter in AA/101 Jg.Div. No DoD given but issued spring of 1943. These seem very rare and given out only for a short time span.

Bernhard

All mine, and others I've seen, are from 1943. I was given 14 different of them for the Polizei Division, all from the same Rgt. All 1 officer, the rest NCO and EMs. Have seen an Army Pz and a Navy, that was all.
