As it begins with 'M' it would equate to the Kriegsmarine entry in the listings for that number...

13177

(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 4. Kompanie Bau-Bataillon 140,
(28.4.1940-14.9.1940) gestrichen,
(12.7.1941-26.1.1942) 14. U-Jagdflottille U.J. 1407,
(25.1.1943-31.7.1943) gestrichen, wurde Fp.Nr. 01283,
(24.3.1944-6.11.1944) 11.4.1944 Sonderstab General Stahel (OKW),
(7.11.1944-Kriegsende) 18.12.1944 gestrichen.

Hi.
This is very helpful. Thanks a lot.
This FPN is from a stamp in a Soldbuch (Marine) on the photo.
The first date entry in this Soldbuch is from May 1943 (page 36) with a FPN M01283.
So I think this Soldbuch is connected to UJ 1407 using an older stamp for the photo.
On page 2 there is an additional FNP (M 44119) from the office that issued the Soldbuch.
Maybe this is connected to 14. U-Jagdflottille.

Rony

Your assumptions are correct...

01283

(Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) 12. U-Jagd-Flottilie U.J. 122,
(12.7.1941-26.1.1942) 14. U-Jagd-Flottille U.J. 122,
dann 14. U-Jagd-Flottille U.J. 1402,
(25.1.1943-31.7.1943) 14. U-Jagd-Flottille U.J. 1407.

44119

(28.2.1941-29.7.1941) 13. U-Jagd-Gruppe Kommando,
(30.7.1941-28.2.1942) 14. U-Jagd-Flottille Kommando.

FP# 206111 71, thought the 6 might be a 0. It is on the reverse of a tropical photograph and dates from mid 42 to mid 43.
There is also a capitol N written below it.

I think it cannot be an FP# as it is too long, should only be 5 numbers long. Sorry for the mistake. Any ideas what it would signify?

Thanks for any help.

I don't know what it is but it isn't a FpNr as they had five numbers.

You must have seen this before I edited it as I had already realised my error, but thanks for the confirmation.
