Can anyone provide any information on FP 57113 (specifically 57113D) and its potential involvement with either the V-1 or V-2 weapons? I have a one line reference "Der Stab wurde für den Einsatz von V-Waffen eingesetzt." but am not sure what it means.

Also, what unit is this FP referencing? I have seen both Heeres-Flak Abt. 294 and 760??????

If V-1 or V-2 related - any idea of the dates it was involved?

Thanks in advance!

from Feldpostübersicht: 57 113 D = 3. Battery/Heeres-Flakartillerie-Abteilung 294

June 17th 1943 - Heeres-Flakartillerie-Abteilung (bo.) 294 was incorporated and renamed in I. (Flak)/Artillerie-Regiment 760
Nov 11th 1943 - I. (Flak)/ Artillerie-Regiment 760 was reclassified (from bodenständig into mot.) and renamed into Heeres-Flakartillerie-Abt. (mot.) 294 as independently unit

Heeres-Flakartillerie-Abteilung 294 was involved in the V2- organisation started in JUne 1943and in 1945 part of Division z.V.

Replace "Stab (=rod/stick) " with "Stab (=staff)" and you will get the sense, Tom ;-)

Thank you to both of you for the fast reply.

Uwe - just to be sure I understand - 294 was involved with the V2 starting in June 1943 until the end of the war. In 1945 294 was part of Division z.V - do I have it correct?

Thanks for the listing - it will help my research a lot. I am trying to find envelopes postmarked from the feldpost/units involved with V-2 (and V-1).

i think ????? SS-Artillery School II in Beneschau had nothing to do with V1/V2

I can't find my reference for this unit - therefore I am taking it off the list. Thanks for your opinion!
