Photo collectors nightmare!
It seems to me that some of you are going through difficult face in the "fun" of collecting photos. I myself has about 5500-6000 original photos in my collection, and I have alot of albums, containing one or more identical pictures! In a company, it was usual that one soldier with a camera was allowed or (forced by comerades) to take pictures so all could order a copy afterwards. That is why we often find pictures where the soldier clearly is putting himself in difficult situations, like running out of a nicley lined-up row of soldiers and officers to take a snapshot. If every soldier was to do this, there would be no proper line! This type of pictures can also be seen during funerals, award cermonies, or when famous high ranking officers visited the unit. It was usual that comrades ordered some or all pictures from a roll of film. That is why collectors often find loose picturelots that has only a name written on the backside, or/and even numbers to identify the pictures ordered.
Hope this helps.
Regarding my interest, I can add that I am always looking for Norway related pictures, and I often have interesting pictures or albums to swap with. Right now, I have a small lot of 11 pictures of finnish soldiers, almost all with ek1!, I have police gebirgsjaegers (attached to the ss-div "Nord) in Finnland, I also have an excellent photoalbum from a kriegsmarine soldier, that took heaps of GREAT photos from sunken and/or damaged battleships etc. in the french, belgium, dutch (?) coastline. I also can provide other kind of militaria to swap with, just enter http://www.ju52.com and check if there is something of interest!
Kind wishes,

Joe,
Here is how you attach images:
If you click on Add an Attachment, you will see the box for adding Attachments.
If you click on Posted Attachments, you will see a list of already attached Files and you are able to edit them.
If you want to Replace (Upload new Version) an Attachment, you have to click both links. Add the Attachment as you normally would do, thereafter don't click on Add Attachment, rather click on Upload New Version at the Attachment Entry you intend to update.
